USAIN BOLT TO BE HONORED BY DOMINICAN GOVERNMENT

Olympic champion Usain 'Lighting' Bolt shears a moment with Prime Minster of St Kitts & Nevis, the Hon Denzil Douglas (l), Lexy Brooks, VIP Connected Entertainment and Ambassador Delano Bart (R) at a private party hosted by Puma at the Room Service Club in NYC

Triple Olympic champion Usain 'ighting' Bolt, fresh from his historic trip to New York where he made appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman and Live with Regis and Kelly is certainly a hot commodity these days.

According to Lexy Brooks, CEO of VIP Connected Entertainment, an invitation was extended to Bolt's manager Norman Peart by the Dominica Tourism Authority and The Dominica World Creole Music Festival for Bolt to be a special guest of the Hon. Prime Minister Mr. Roosevelt Skerritt on the island from October 31 - November 2nd 2008. If Bolt accepts, the trip would cover all expenses including travel, accommodation and meals for the sprinter and two guests.

This year Dominicans will have much to rejoice about as they celebrate 30 years of Independence and the 12th Annual Dominica World Creole Music Festival which runs from October 31 - November 2nd. Headliners for this year's festival include Sean Paul, Machel Montano, Nasio Fontaine, D'jakout and many more international acts.

While in Dominica, Bolt will be honored at the Windsor Park Stadium in Roseau, Dominica. A visit to the Fresh Water Lake - a world heritage landmark - will also be included in his itinerary.
