The Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, since its introduction in 1996, has grown into the island’s premier entertainment event. Over the past five years the Festival has attracted thousands of patrons from the USA, Europe, the Caribbean and Jamaica. The 2006 Festival saw the attendance of over 40,000 persons with approximately 8,000 visitors to the islands.
